Chair of Governing Board’s Annual Report 2022/2023

The governing body have worked closely with the school’s senior leadership team this year to monitor it’s progress against the schools plan.

The senior leadership team and staff within the school have done a fantastic job in continuing to deliver high quality education, whilst ensuring it provides effective wrap around care and pastoral support that enables our pupils to access their provision.
Governors undertook regular monitoring visits throughout 2022/23. These included joining the staff team on learning walks and a review of the school’s financial position but were not limited to this.

I am pleased to report that these monitoring visits were very successful and will continue into 2023/24.
I am very pleased to be able to take up the position of Chair of Governors and look forward to leading the governing body into the 2023/24 academic year.
