Governance experience
As HT I was an integral part of the Governing body at Stowting school for 6 years. Previously I served on East Stour governing body as a delegated member for the HT. I have also been involved in governance/ as part of the members for the Finberry and Chilmington schools. I delivered governor training as part of a previous role as a part of the Advisory Service.

Hobbies and Interests
Costal rower, open water swimming, walking, working my Cocker spaniel, reading and knitting. Keen on theatre and any watching rugby, football. Enjoying my family.
Why did you become a governor?
I did not want retirement to be an end to my connection to education and use of the skills I have developed over the last 26 years. East Stour has a special place in my heart and I will always want the very best for all in the school community.
