National World Book Day

Book Sale in School
On Wednesday 2nd March as part of World Book Day we will be having a book sale. If your children have any unwanted books at home that they would be happy to donate they can be brought in from Monday 28 February. On Wednesday 2nd March they will be put outside classrooms and sold to children after school with parents. The money raised will be used to buy more books for the school library.

Wingham Wildlife Trip - Year 1
Our topic in Year 1 this term is “Paws, Claws and Whiskers” and as part of this topic we would like to take the children on a trip to Wingham Wildlife Park, Rusham Road, Wingham, CT3 1JL. Where the children will get the chance to see animals from all over the globe. The trip will take place on the Wednesday 30th March. We will be leaving school at 9:15am promptly and will return to school for the end of the school day.

Year 5 Science Trip
In Term 4 Ukuleles and Cellos are studying Earth and Space in Science. With this in mind, a trip has been arranged to the Science Observatory in Herstmonceux on Friday 25 March. The children will participate in ‘Destination Space’ activities, as well as have the opportunity to investigate the interactive exhibits. Children may wear home clothes but must wear their blue school jumper for easy identification.
